WIWW : Early January Edition

It’s What I Wore Wednesday time over at Transatlantic Blonde so I just had a dig through this months photo stream to see what I have of Little Legs from the last week. I do not look at all trendy at the moment, in fact I look dog rough, so you shall have to make do with Little Legs representing us! And as I couldn’t choose between these two images, you get to know about two outfits…

First up we have Little Legs loving her iPad Mini and using our Bose headphones, although she has claimed them as her own. The coat is one of Barbour’s Liberty Print ones which I can not find online for some reason, the print is on the inside. Its cute. Phil sent it over when he was off on his jaunt last year. She’s also wearing 4funkyflavours leggings from Love It Love It Love It and a past season Polarn O. Pyret horse carousel tunic top which I love a lot and it compliments the leggings brilliantly. The top has a yellow contrast trim and the pants have some yellow detailing. One of her own favourite outfits because its comfy, one of my favourites because it’s super cute. Everyone is a winner.

In this photo Little Legs is rocking her All Saints Children’s Nahara Trench Coat, she’s had this for a while now and it hasn’t lost any of its charm. The purple and orange bobble hat is from next (past season) and  she has on some classic Ugg boots which she lovingly refers to as her rescue boots. She normally puts on her rescue pack (aka a Skiphop Owl Rucksack) and rescues animals in the style of Diego in them … if you have a toddler you will know what I am on about. Anyway, a lovely walk but we froze our faces off. Thankfully that walk is literally two minutes from home so it was doable.

WIWW - Original Sister Dress

I have spent the last two weeks with my little family in South Africa, and have taken lots of photos – you can have a look at them in my week one and week two posts if you fancy it. The story is the same every time I go anywhere. I am the taker of photos. I am rarely in the photos. Fail.

So this week I am featuring Little Legs in her little Original Sister dress. It’s the Liv denim dress (£35.99) – the sleeves and neck are brilliant and it’s a really cute length. It’s past season though, so if  you want it, you’re going to have to hunt for it!

We love it.

What I Wore Wednesday

I have to keep up with these What I Wore Wednesday posts from Transatlantic Blonde, as it keeps me blogging every  week and we all know I can be a little slack on posting. So as it’s just past midnight, I thought I would throw this one in now.

This weekend I spent time with my buddies Ryan and Sian – always good fun as you can see from the image above. I don’t normally post images of myself on here, I am far too critical (aka vain) but I adore the fun captured in the images above.

I confess I pretty much wore in these photos what I wore in the WIWW Bubble edition post. The only change was the shoes. Instead I grabbed  some aerobic wedge heel trainers from Topshop for £48. I didn’t actually realise they were aerobic or wedge heeled, but that would explain my grumbles that the back of my knees hurt. Random. Yes. I know I should have realised but I didn’t try on I just brought, and then they were comfy. Ha.

They actually look a lot better in the flesh, I personally think this picture makes them look a little cheap.

And one point during the weekend, Ryan and I were having a giggle with the ladies from TK Maxx. Ryan tried on jumpsuit to prove they didn’t suit her – the jury is still out though as the jumpsuit was too small and therefore camel toe sprung to mind. Very amusing though. Ryan also spent time teaching me how to pose properly so that I could post pics of myself on here. Again, very amusing.

As you can see, we never got the pose quite right and I should have kept my jacket on. Because it’s cropped it gave me the illusion of a waist. We spent a lot of time laughing with the TK Maxx ladies, but my highlight was the stylist telling me – when I has said jacket on – I was doing everything just right. Did I mention I was vain?

What I Wore Wednesday

WIWW : Bubble Edition

I have a lot of clothes, but to be honest, most of them are CRAP for day wear. I buy dresses that I never get to wear anywhere – take note husband – so when I popped to trade show Bubble London on Monday to see what was out there for Little Stomper, I was in a bit of a bad mood about the whole lack of decent day clothes thing.

But I went through the wardrobe and put this little ensemble together which I am showing you as part of Transatlantic Blonde’s What I Wore Wednesday.

What I Wore Wednesday

We have:

  • Sparkle & Fade Birch Intarsia Pull-On Skirt – Urban Outfitters £28. I am loving it.
  • A top very very similar to the one pictured which is from Reiss, but I can’t remember where it’s from and am too lazy to hunt through the washing pile to find it! It cost about £30.
  • A cropped black jacket from H&M that I brought a little while ago, about £35
  • Extra long leggings from Dorothy Perkins £15 ish – I can’t quite get away with the skirt without it. All you tall girls note that DP leggings are great.

So a black outfit with a bit of pattern and a bright splurge of colour. I wore black ballet pumps with it and will be rocking it again soon …. when I meet up with my Cybher  crew at the weekend in fact – see you then Sian and Ryan!
