Family Jubilee Festival

What to do Jubilee Weekend?

Family Jubilee Festival

I have been puzzling about this one. I want to take Little Legs to London. But I knew hanging about in cocktail bars really wouldn’t be that suitable. Said bars and dirty nightclubs is what I know about London.

So I thought about just heading to South Bank – it’s a fast train to Waterloo from mine – and just mooching about. I thought about the London Eye. Or to Tate Modern. Tate Modern have an under 5s section – which was news to me but now on the To Do list.

But then I realised there’s only one thing I should be doing this Jublilee Weekend. Hyde Park for the Jubilee Family Festival! I really am a little slow sometimes. Of course this is what we should be doing. Tickets are well priced, £20 for me. Free for Little Legs. The in-laws are also joining us. Should be fun. It’s a Sainsbury’s and Disney collaboration from what I can tell. And you all know Lola and I like a festival, whatever the theme.

The full line up looks like there’s going to be something for everyone – and I am sure that I saw there’s going to be a life size Lightening McQueen there. That alone is worth it for car obsessed Little Legs. For me, War Horse. I loved that film, have read the book so look forward to seeing more.

So that’s what we’re doing. We’re there on the Sunday. Can’t wait. I’m hoping for sunshine but as we have wellies a plenty in this house, so don’t really care either way!

Bloggers Wedding Album

This is one of my favourite photos from my wedding day. This is my side of the family. From the left, my sister and her husband, next to her is my aunt and uncle, then Phil and I, my mummy with my dad and lastly my aunt and uncle. Bunch of nutters the lot of them! I’d had enough of posing, so demanded everyone pulled a face. Dad failed but that was because he was too busy laughing.

I am posting this for Tara’s brilliant Blogger Wedding Album. Such a great idea!
