When I was asked if I fancied bringing the little legged brigade to Peppa Pig World at Paulton’s Park I didn’t need much convincing. I have been promising Little Legs a visit since we went last year but with The Boys appearance, summer has been slipping past quickly and we had no plans to go. So last Thursday, Little Legs, The Boy and I jumped in the car and headed down to Peppa Pig World. Easy drive, well signposted. Takes about 45 mins from me. Drama free.
We arrived, we had a chit chat with the other bloggers, played with toys and checked out some merchandise. Now me. I am not a slogan / branded / character kind of girl but there were a few things that really did catch our eye. First of all, Peppa Pig World are now doing adult sized merchandise so if you’re that way inclined you and the other half could have matching Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig tees. The kids would love it.
Anyway, the first thing that caught my eye was the Granny Pig apron. If only the mother in law cooked. She doesn’t though, nor does my mum. I would have loved to see their faces when they opened them on Christmas day. *insert evil laugh here*.
They also do some more subtle items, like socks and what have you… judging by the amount of Peppa Pig clothing we saw at Peppa Pig World on visitors, it’s a popular range. It’s was all new to me though!
Little Legs was all over George’s Mr Dinosaur Dressing Gown. She likes dress up, and she likes roaring so this was a total winner. At £14.99 you can’t complain, and for the pure fun value this is going on Little Leg’s christmas list. Hang on. Does that mean I am encouraging roaring at bedtime and first thing in the morning?! Hmmmm.
The other thing I loved was George’s teddy bear. He’s wicked. I mean look at the eyes! Love. I actually purchased one of these for The Boy, but Little Legs has stolen it. I will help him claim it back!
Peppa Pig World is great fun. Little Legs loved it. The queues during half term in the sunshine were a tad depressing, but that’s what happens at theme parks! It’s worth checking out the rest of Paulton’s Park though, there are some great play parks with sand pits, lovely walks, rides, dinosaurs, animals etc – well worth a visit.
