Achicaaaaaaaa

Whenever I say Achica, I can’t help but think about Shooting Stars and Ulrikaaaa … anyway, Achica – the members-only luxury lifestyle store - hit me up with some vouchers to spend on their site at the end of last year , £11o in total. I was thinking about buying Christmas gifts, but then I saw the Interstil White Narrow Ladder Shelving for just £49 and thought sod it, that bad boy needed to be mine! So in to the shopping basket it went, along with the Angel Schlesser Drops King Duvet Cover Set for £42. I did do a little Christmas though, I ordered two Winter Chalet White Patterned Stars at £3.99 each. So those purchases along with postage equalled my money well spent.

Achica’s ordering and checkout process is very simple. I have used them a number of times and have never had a problem.

Fast forward a couple of weeks and my stars and shelving arrive, hoorah. Note that with Achica the lead time for deliveries is longer than most stores BUT they’re pretty explicit when you should expect things – it’s detailed on each item. Stars are now hanging either side of the window – I decided to leave them up when the last of the decorations came down, and the shelving is up and crying out for me to find some lovelies to put on it. Another reason to shop, *happy sigh*.

The duvet took a little longer to come, past the expected timescale but I did get communication throughout letting me know when it would be coming so wasn’t bothered at all. And come it eventually did. I was a little disappointed in the duvet, as you can see from the photo, it clearly appears grey and the description says “is characterized by its striking grey coloured drops and a contrasting light ground”  but actually it’s more of a fawn colour in real life, which didnt match my orange and grey room as much as it should have. You have 10 days to return items, but sadly we went away and by the time we got back, it was too late to return. Annoying, but we should have been on the ball I guess.

I love Achica, have been using it for years and if you keep an eye on it you can get some fabulous deals and some fabulous pieces – right now you can get some FERM Living items with between 40 and 50% off, and Pantone Dining goodies. However, I am saving myself, like I said I need to get some fabulous pieces to go on my ladder shelving!
