It’s finally over. I am no longer a Furniture Specifier. I no longer have an excuse to look at chairs all day and imagine the fabric combos I could use. Yesterday was the last day of working on the project I agreed to see through, even though I actually handed in my notice in December.
It’s a little sad. But mostly exciting.
On to bigger and better things. Of course, I shall be working on Cybher 2013. That’s exciting. And contributing to Bambino Goodies - also exciting, and fulfilling my need to look at lovely things. And I have my little shoe shop, Little Stomper, which is going from strength to strength and something I love doing. And there may be some other opportunities in the pipeline to work with people / companies for whom I have a lot of time for. Again, really exciting.
Jeez. I think I have overused the word exciting there, but one more thing excites me. My new baby. I introduce Doris to you:

Doris is my new Macbook Air. And I love her so. Yes I name my Mac products. Laugh. I don’t care. Doris was ordered on Tuesday, arrived on Wednesday and has been stroked a lot today, Thursday.
I’m going to take her with me to South Africa so thought I ought to get her a nice little sleeve to keep her safe. I trawled online, I went through every amazon prime sleeve available, but couldn’t find anything I liked that wouldn’t cost me £60+ or would be here by tomorrow. So I visited TK Maxx this morning.
Doris now has a a sleeve. It’s from Knomo Bags. It would normally cost me circa £40. I got it for £14.99. Hurrah. This is why I love TK Maxx. They also have lots of other ones there - definitely worth having a browse if you’re in the market for one. BTW TK Maxx haven’t hit me up with some cash to write about them, I am writing because it’s a friggin bargain!
Anyway …..
Now Doris is all good for travel, I need to sort Little Legs and I out. We have suitcases. But I bloody hate packing. I ALWAYS forget things – like socks, toothbrushes – things that are replaceable but bloody annoying when you realise you don’t have them. It’s four more sleeps until we fly out to see Phil. We fly Monday evening, so Tuesday morning, my little family will all be together again.
This is the most exciting thing of all.

Hooray for new ventures, new computers and new adventures!
Love this! You’re so poetic!

Congratulations honey. You’ll never look back! x
