I know how to get free stuff. It’s really a simple technique. You just write a post and have a moan, and voila, free stuff comes. Now I’m not talking about bitching in the hope of some PR taking note and trying to make good, that won’t happen.

Instead, you just need to write a post  which has a bit of a moan about how your husband broke your cafetière before he disappeared for seven months, and what do you know, I now have a new one.

The husband sent it. He read my post whilst on shore leave in Senegal and quickly fired up the iPad and ordered me one. He also updated his facebook status to say:  “After reading my wife’s blog where she loves to bitch about things I’ve done or not done. I’ve just purchased her a small gift which will hopefully shut her up!!! “ – that my friends is true love.

It came today.

It’s not as nice as my last one, but he does get a gold star for effort. Thank you husband. Kiss.

Now, what else do I need … ?!?
